I've spent the last 18 years in leadership roles marketing top national brands while developing expertise in key areas of traditional advertising, strategy development, community relations, events and engagement (social) media. While my experience spans many brands, markets and industries, my passion (and sweet spot) is around food, families and children, and companies doing good things for more than just their bottom line. Most of the brands I've worked with have explicitly targeted women and moms so I know how to engage and motivate this audience.
Most of this experience has been at Advertising and Promotional Agencies. I now work at Aisle7, formerly Healthnotes as a Product Marketing Manager developing health and wellness programs for retailers to offer their shoppers. You can learn more about me, professionally, at LinkedIn.
But now let's talk about the fun stuff.
Most recently, I've appeared on Oprah.com, What's Cooking and Kiwi.com, and regularly write for Activistas and Aisle7, in addition to Change Becomes Change. I attend events like BlogHer, participate in twitter chats often and enjoy being a panelist for sponsoring companies, especially Share Our Strength, which I have a partnership with.
Campaigns or brands that I've supported include: Share Our Season 12 Days of Sharing (Share Our Strength), Whole Foods, Steaz Organic Iced Teas, Blog Action Day, Whole Foods,HOTLIPS All-Natural Soda, Taco Del Mar, Environmental Working Group, and SOLV.
My style is different from many bloggers: I won't do product reviews or giveaways unless there's a relevant message for my readers. As a marketer, I know how to engage with consumers in ways that results in action.
